Easter Services

         March 29, 7:00 p.m. - Maundy Thursday

After Jesus washed the disciples' feet, He said, "I have set an example that you should do as I have done for you.  Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them."  (John 13:1-17)  We are to serve our neighbors, even if it means we must do things we might not like to do.  Even if the work is dirty or hard, or even if we think it beneath us, we must still do our work.  After all, Jesus Himself, the Son of God, washed the feet of His disciples.  And we are no greater than Jesus, so sure we too should do the same.  At the Maundy Thursday service, we will learn more about this biblical tradition and then wash the hands of our neighbors.

     March 30, 7:00 p.m. - Good Friday

Good Friday is an important day of the year because it celebrates what we believe to be the most momentous weekend in the history of the world.  Ever since Jesus died and was raised.  Christians have proclaimed the cross and resurrection of Jesus to be the decisive turning point for all creation.  On Good Friday we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.  Come, join us as we willingly nail our own sins to the cross.

Meet Bethel's New Pastor, Karen Devaisher

Karen began drinking coffee at the age of four and has never stopped. She’s served Metro Ministries as the Associate District Superintendent on behalf of the Central District for seven years. When she accepted Jesus at the age of twelve, she began a journey that led her into ministry to follow the teachings of Jesus. Matthew 25:45 in particular has inspired her to serve the needs of others. She believes in mission work and its outreach to those who need assistance, and her hero is Mother Teresa. She also happens to be an avid John Deere fan. In her free time she enjoys praying, reading, spending time with her family, and meeting with friends.
